Position Overview:

G&L Corporation is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Goldhofer Operator to support our heavy haul and specialized transport operations. This role is responsible for operating hydraulic platform trailers and modular transport systems to safely move oversized and heavy loads for industrial, utility, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has experience with heavy equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and teamwork on every job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydraulic platform trailers (such as Goldhofer modular units) to safely transport heavy and oversized loads.
• Configure, assemble, and disassemble trailer arrangements in accordance with project requirements and permit specifications.
• Perform pre-trip, operational, and post-trip inspections on trailers, power packs, and related equipment.
• Monitor equipment condition and promptly report mechanical or operational concerns.
• Work closely with project managers, rigging crews, and field supervision to support transport and onsite positioning activities.
• Ensure securement methods meet load requirements, capacity limitations, and regulatory standards.
• Follow all company, site-specific, and regulatory safety practices throughout mobilization, transport, and demobilization.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment, modular platform trailers, or similar systems.
• Valid CDL preferred; ability to meet DOT and company driving requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic and electronic control systems.
• Ability to interpret basic drawings, specifications, and transport plans preferred.
• Proven commitment to safety on industrial and construction job sites.
• Willingness to travel and work extended or irregular hours as project schedules require.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
